COVID-19 : My Journey from Positive to Negative | What I did and what I didn't? | Corona Virus | Fresio Blogs

With the wrath of the Corona Virus at its peak, more than 200,000 lives have already been lost and many people are still in search of every hope that will allow them to live. People have lost their dear ones while many are still praying every day for the health and well-being of their family members. I've friends who have lost their family members and I still don't know how should I talk to them!

This time, covid is crueler and is not going to stop anytime soon. I am not writing this blog for any personal benefits, I'm writing this because hearing every day that someone is gone, has made me devastated. I'm writing this blog hoping that it will help anyone reading this, in some or another way.

Testing Positive

April 1, 2021, The day I got myself tested for covid, and after 40 hours, I got a report that I was positive. The CT value in my report read 18.

What is CT Value?

Explained in a layman's language, an article by The Indian Express read, "The Ct value refers to the number of cycles after which the virus can be detected. If a higher number of cycles is required, it implies that the virus went undetected when the number of cycles was lower. The lower the Ct value, the higher the viral load — because the virus has been spotted after fewer cycles."

What symptoms did I have?

It all started with severe back and neck pain, and a slight fever. From the time, I started noticing that something was not right with my health, I immediately took my day off and returned to my home. After coming home and having lunch, I started developing a fever. Even before getting myself tested for covid, the first thing I did was taking a paracetamol tablet, switching off the fan, covering my whole body up with a blanket, and going off to sleep. I woke up after 2-3 hours and my fever was gone, my body pain was relieved.

Few days after that, I developed a sore throat, loss of smell & taste, and again pain in the back.

What did I do?

After I got a positive report, I consulted my doctor who gave me a few medicines, basically for a weak immune system and viral diseases.  I couldn't tell you the names as you're advised to talk to your doctor and take medicines as per your medical history. But 2 medicines that I would definitely suggest are taking Vitamin C tablets, in my case, it was Becozule Capsule, and Zincovit or any multivitamin once a day.

Apart from taking medicines, I drank Kaadha twice a day, took hot water steam thrice, drank hot lemon water, and drank lukewarm water every time instead of normal or chilled.

Kaadha Recipe:

4 glasses of water
1 Teaspoon Black Pepper
1-2 Large Cinnamon sticks
5-6 Cloves
2 Cardamoms
1 whole Lemon
1/2 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
Thumb-size Ginger
10-15 Tulsi Patta

  • Bring the water to a roaring boil, Crush all the above ingredients together, except, Lemon and Turmeric.
  • Add everything to the boiling water.
  • Let it boil at a high flame for 5-10 mins.
  • Strain and drink it hot.
Steam process:

Keep your face right above the hot water, cover yourself up with a blanket or towel. Inhale with your nose and exhale with your mouth 10 times. Secondly, inhale with your mouth and exhale with your nose. Repeat both of these two times. After you're done, sit straight, keeping yourself covered, for 30 secs-1 min. And you're done.

Covid positive patients are advised to do this at least 3 times a day, and negative patients too for at least 1 time.

What to do if you're positive?

The first thing you should do is restraining yourself in a single room. Don't allow anyone to come to your room. Use a single washroom that no one else should use. Keep a sanitizer spray handy, so that wherever you go or touch, make sure you sanitize it. keep your room clean. Avoid eating or drinking anything that is cold. If around someone, always wear two masks, maintain a good distance and avoid talking. Keep sanitizing your hands.

Always monitor your oxygen levels and fever. An oxygen level is best at 99-100 and normal at 95. if it falls below that, consult your doctor immediately. If you have a high fever, consult your doctor. Apart from all these, you can always do what I did.

Hope this helps a few people.

Picture Source: https://www.youtube.com/@TheSanatanGyann  If you came to read this blog and discover who is the supreme between Shiv and Krishn, my friend, you, like many others, have fallen victim to the hate that an English organization and its uneducated monks are trying to spread across our beautiful country. I will also explain at the end why they are spreading this hate but first, allow me to uncover the truth before you. Before you start reading, I want you to listen to our beloved Premanandji Maharaj. Presently, a significant controversy surrounds the Vaishnava and Shaiva sects regarding the supremacy between Lord Shiva and Vishnu. Vaishnavas, particularly those affiliated with the English Organisation IS__ON, assert that Shri Krishna (Vishnu) is the greatest, while followers of the Shaivite sect, dedicated to Shiva, proclaim Shiva's greatness. However, it is important to recognize that both Shiva and Vishnu are distinct manifestations of the Parabrahma Paramatma (Sup...

Champions Triumphant: India's Victory Silences the Dubai Dissenters

Source:  aljazeera.com   Yesterday, the Indian cricket team lifted the Champions Trophy, a victory that was as emphatic as it was deserved. But amidst the celebrations, a familiar murmur resurfaced — the debate surrounding India playing all their matches at the Dubai International Stadium. Was it an unfair advantage? The voices of dissent, particularly from the South African camp, echoed through the cricketing world. “It’s definitely an advantage,” declared Rassie van der Dussen, citing the comfort of staying in one location, practicing in familiar facilities, and playing on the same pitches. David Miller echoed this sentiment, lamenting the travel disruptions that his team faced.  “It’s only an hour and 40 minute flight, but the fact that we had to do that was not ideal,” he stated, following their loss to New Zealand. David Miller honest about frequent travel between Pakistan and Dubai: It was not nice However, these complaints ring hollow when examined against the bac...
