Is India ready for Tesla? | Tesla Electric Vehicles | Elon Musk | Fresio Blogs

Tesla and India

As promised by the man of his words, Elon Musk, about the entry of his Electric Vehicle Company, Tesla in 2021, has finally been fulfilled. Registered by the name, Tesla India Motors and Energy Private Limited, Elon Musk has finally marked his Grand Entry into the Indian Market and we cannot be more excited than finally seeing Tesla running on Indian Streets.
But what remains unanswered is whether India is ready for Tesla? Are there enough Electric Charging Stations and Electric Supply that can help Tesla run?  Is the Indian street ready to welcome Tesla? How costly will Tesla be in the Indian Market? Can people afford to buy it? Let's get all your questions answered!
1. Electric Supply In India and Electric Charging Stations: With several places in India yet to receive a 24*7 supply of electricity, running electric vehicles in India can be quite a concern. But as we all know, Demand has to be met with adequate Supply if an Economy has to prosper.

In a virtual meeting held recently, Mr. Nitin Gadkari, Minister for Road Transport & Highways and the Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in the Government of India, said that India is getting equipped to welcome electric vehicles in India. Goverment has plans to setup an Electric Charging Kiosk at 69,000 petrol stations across India making it an electric vehicle nation by 2030. Apart from this, Government is also taking measures to promote electric vehicles by slashing GST to 5% and delinking battery costs from 2&3 wheelers which normally accounts to 30% of the total cost of the vehicle.
During the meeting, Mr. Gadkari also emphasized on the development and use of Flex Engines that can use petrol or ethanol/CNG as fuels. Government has also approved phases 1 & 2 of FAME(Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of(Hybrid &) Electric Vehicles in India) by means of which several organizations can make use of capital grants for promoting electric vehicles and building and operating charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in India. Many Private players, have also joined the move thereby helping India adopt to electric revolution.
Tesla, on the other hand, has its own charging station manufacturing units that has developed 1,344 Super Chargers worldwide and is still growing. Who knows, if the situation demands, Tesla too can get into the battleground!

2. Indian Streets and Tesla: India is the largest manufacturer of two-wheelers and fourth largest manufacturer of commercial vehicles in the world. With around 25 Million cars already running on the Indian Streets, there is always a way to overcome street barriers. While a good ground clearance and suspension system has been a, so far, a good tactic of running vehicles in India, there are still many ways in which this can be dealt. Also, one should never forget the man behind Tesla, Elon Musk, for whom nothing is impossible. He always has a way out of any difficulty.
3. How costly will be Tesla? : As per several sources, there is a 85-100% import tax levied on finished vehicles in India, which means the cost of the car would double here, in the Indian Markets. Tesla's cheapest vehicle, back in the US is priced at $38,000(around Rs. 30,00,000) which can cost nearly Rs. 60,00,000 when it arrives in India. While the cost may not be affordable for the lower and middle class, others can have the pleasure of riding Tesla very soon. We can only hope that Tesla starts manufacturing the vehicle in India soon to get a huge relief from the heavy taxes and many other classes of people can also afford it!

With everything being said, we can only say the India is not immediately ready for Electric Vehicles but with a clear vision and efficiency of the Government, it will definitely be ready to adopt to it very soon.

Picture Source: https://www.youtube.com/@TheSanatanGyann  If you came to read this blog and discover who is the supreme between Shiv and Krishn, my friend, you, like many others, have fallen victim to the hate that an English organization and its uneducated monks are trying to spread across our beautiful country. I will also explain at the end why they are spreading this hate but first, allow me to uncover the truth before you. Before you start reading, I want you to listen to our beloved Premanandji Maharaj. Presently, a significant controversy surrounds the Vaishnava and Shaiva sects regarding the supremacy between Lord Shiva and Vishnu. Vaishnavas, particularly those affiliated with the English Organisation IS__ON, assert that Shri Krishna (Vishnu) is the greatest, while followers of the Shaivite sect, dedicated to Shiva, proclaim Shiva's greatness. However, it is important to recognize that both Shiva and Vishnu are distinct manifestations of the Parabrahma Paramatma (Sup...

Champions Triumphant: India's Victory Silences the Dubai Dissenters

Source:  aljazeera.com   Yesterday, the Indian cricket team lifted the Champions Trophy, a victory that was as emphatic as it was deserved. But amidst the celebrations, a familiar murmur resurfaced — the debate surrounding India playing all their matches at the Dubai International Stadium. Was it an unfair advantage? The voices of dissent, particularly from the South African camp, echoed through the cricketing world. “It’s definitely an advantage,” declared Rassie van der Dussen, citing the comfort of staying in one location, practicing in familiar facilities, and playing on the same pitches. David Miller echoed this sentiment, lamenting the travel disruptions that his team faced.  “It’s only an hour and 40 minute flight, but the fact that we had to do that was not ideal,” he stated, following their loss to New Zealand. David Miller honest about frequent travel between Pakistan and Dubai: It was not nice However, these complaints ring hollow when examined against the bac...
