Reliance Industries produces 3x cheaper PPE kits
The PPE kits exported from China costs around 2000 per PPE Kit, while the domestic produce is priced at just Rs. 650 per PPE kit. The Silvasa Plant is now determined to produce 1 lakh PPE kits every day for those fighters who are risking their lives to save the country. While the Silvasa Plant is busy assembling the kits, The Jamnagar Refineries of Reliance Industries is producing petrochemicals that are necessary to make these high-quality PPE kits.
Alok Industries, which was previously acquired by Reliance Industries, is the place where this massive production of PPE kits is being done. More than 10,000 workers are involved in making these PPE kits every day. NOt only PPE kits, but Reliance Industries has also developed Corona Testing Kits which are being used everyday. Reliance Industries, with the help of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, has developed RT-LAMP Covid-19 Test Kit. This testing kit too is way cheaper than the one's imported from China.
