The Indian Competitor to Tiktok, The Mitron App, is finally in the play store. Released on 11th April 2020, the Mitron app has already crossed 5 Million+ downloads and is now one of the trending apps in the play store. Developed by an IIT Roorkee Student, Shivank Agarwal says that "Mitron app is a free Short video and Social platform where people can showcase their talents and innovative ideas online with light humor that they have to offer." which is a very professional approach rather than what the Chinese App developer has to say, i.e. "Tiktok was created for jobless and useless people.". The name of the app is the Hindi version of the Friends.

Although there are minor bugs in the app, Indians are already supporting the work done by their countrymen. After all, every app at the start has bugs but it is the addressal of the complaints is what decides the fate of the app. The developer, too, is trying to improve its app and paying attention to the comments about its apk. The app has an amazing 4.7 Star rating on the play store and is fixing and improving the bugs with every update. The Tiktok and Youtube Controversy has also helped the Mitron app grow as the Indian version would be much loved by Indians than the Chinese counterpart. Also, It cannot be neglected that the name of the app is one of the most famous words used by the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. People are very positive that the app will definitely make its way to the top and the bugs will be fixed at a faster pace. Although the app is trying to fix its errors and improve the quality of the app, it is always the content of the app that decides whether people will stay on the app to move to some other counterpart.
